Saturday, February 19, 2011. Saturday, February 19, 2011. Last Friday the Cat in the Hat and I presented the Read-a-thon to the students. We visited each neighborhood and did a mini assembly lasting about 10 minutes. The students seemed really excited and I hope the RAT is a sucess. Here is video of the poem I read with the Cat in the Hat. Then I went on to explain how the RAT works and showed the kids the prizes. Posted by The Queen Bee. Great to be 8! We ate yummy brownies with ice cream.
